Electrolyzed Water
The concept and applications of Electrolyzed Activated Water. – Alternatively known as Super Oxidized Water – Electrolyzed Activated Water – Alternatively called as Super Oxidized Water – has been used extensively in Japan and Korea for many years. It’s uses and characteristics have been well documented and it has been approved for use in the United States by the FDA (registered No.178.10.10) and EPA for many years.
Electrolyzed Activated Water – Alternatively called as Super Oxidized Water- has some very interesting and highly beneficial characteristics to our bodies.
- Electrolysis restructures the water – Converts plain H2O water to HOCL
- Electrolysis changes the pH
- Electrolysis changes the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential)
Why has Electrolyzed Activated Water not been made available to the market place previously, even though it’s good?
- It required expensive equipment and production facility
- It was not stable
KTCC and Its ECA Water Team has innovated the solution to solve two major problems.

Drinking Water Treatment
Drinking water treatment
All drinking water must comply with the following criteria:
*Suspended solids: < 5mg/l *pH: 6.0 – 7.6 *Free chlorine: > 0.5mg/l
Water treatment must be implemented in the following sequence:
*Suspended solids removal
*pH adjustment
*Disinfection with chlorine.
Suspended solids removal can be accomplished with normal sand filters, pH can be adjusted using normal pool acid (hydrochloric acid), and chlorine batch dosing systems require 30 minutes water contact time with chlorine before use.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) is the world’s strongest electrolyzed water disinfectant and IS TOTALLY EFFECTIVE against all Bacteria, Viruses, Mold, Spores, Fungi & Algae – even when diluted in water.
Medical & Pharmaceutical
Testing of Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) has documented Its TOTAL EFFECTIVENESS IN THE ELIMINATION OF Salmonella spp, E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Ebola, Tuberculosis (TB), Legionella pneumophila, Anthrax Spores, Staphylococcus, Listeria, HIV, MRSA methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Norovirus, human and animal Influenza (including H5N1 Avian Influenza), and many more.
Medical Breakthrough
Necrotizing fasciitis, commonly known as the flesh-eating disease, results from a bacterial infection and rapidly destroys the body’s soft tissue. Researchers have discovered they can successfully treat Necrotizing fasciitis by irrigating the wound with Hypochlorous acid – NO SURGERY OR AMPUTATIONS REQUIRED!

Waterlox® PET & Waterlox® VET offer pet owners a safe, effective alternative to conventional pet care and toxic chemicals. How is Waterlox® PET & Waterlox® VET different? Unlike many pet products for skin, eye and ears, fleas, ticks and hot spots, Waterlox® PET & Waterlox® VET active ingredient, hypochlorous acid, or HOCl, is natural, safe and effective:
- natural, because it occurs naturally in both human and animal immune systems where it attacks invading pathogens;
- safe, because it will not harm humans or animals, whether applied to the skin, eyes, or nose, inhaled or ingested by mouth, and it is 100% eco-friendly;
- Effective, because it kills 99.99% of bacteria, fungi and viruses in seconds. It’s the perfect ingredient for the treatment of skin, eye and ear conditions.
The process for generating NaoCl is not new technology, But the Generating Mechanism is NEW– the process of electrolysis has been around for over 200 years and is proven and reliable. Indeed, for years HOCl has been recognized as a powerful disinfectant in many countries for decades, including Germany, Japan, Korea and as such is used far more broadly around the world than in the United States. Hundreds of tests have been conducted that prove HOCL’s effectiveness against bacteria, viruses and fungus. While complete test results are generally available only for a price, the following summaries provide a sampling. If you wish to see further studies, please contact us.
- effectiveness against salmonella, staphylococcus, listeria and E. coli
- effectiveness against C. jejuni
- effectiveness as a surface sanitizer
- effectiveness as a potential wound care agent
Unrivaled For Killing Bacteria
While the technology that produces HOCl has become more sophisticated, the basic process is the same. A small charge of electricity transforms simple tap water and salt into two forms of electrochemically activated water: HOCl, classified as a disinfectant; and sodium hydroxide, a general cleaner and degreaser. Both are 100% nontoxic and perfectly safe for humans, animals and the environment. Tests done by independent laboratories as well as the EPA validate HOCl’s unrivaled effectiveness and safety. For example, HOCl has been proven in clinical tests to be 80~200 times more powerful than chlorine bleach. It is the ideal disinfectant and sanitizer, killing most pathogens in seconds, including E. coli, MRSA, TB, C-diff and salmonella.

Hypochlorous acid has been used as the biocide for the stimulation and enhancement of oil and gas production and to improve the performance of drilling muds.
The EPA and FDA approved Hypochlorous acid for use as an effective, eco-friendly biocide. The EPA’s stringent evaluation of the product resulted in a toxicity rating that is so low that no requirement was implemented to include toxicity information on the label.
Hypochlorous acid can be mixed with water in rig reservoir or rig pits and pumped with the rig pumps. Therefore, does not require any special equipment.
The parts per million (PPM) can vary depending on the individual well and what fluid you are talking about. The concentration can vary, about 50 to 1,000 ppm for drilling muds, completion fluids, and fracking, and 500 to 5,000 ppm for gas storage wells and systems, and 100 to 5,000 ppm for water flood.
Once mixed it is hydraulically injected in the first step of the fracking process, ahead of the gels, polymers, sands etc. to slow and control the growth of odor and slime producing microorganisms.
Hypochlorous acid is a 100 percent green, pH neutral biocide that is non-combustible, non-flammable and non-corrosive; thus, making it safe for groundwater, land and workers using the solution during the fracking process.
